Branch folder's _index.md not read/rendered

Iā€™m currently away from my computer, but am wondering what might be wrong ā€¦ :roll_eyes:

In content/subfolder I have _index.md, and in the list template (layouts/_default/list.html IIRC) I have {{ .Content }} within main.

Still, when rendered, the contents of _index.md is not included for that subfolder.

Just wondering what I can check/how to best debug ā€¦ Can I add some debug info/option to the list template, maybe?

(Running Hugo 0.55.2 on macOS Mojave)

Turned out to be a wrong quote in the template.
Still open to tips on how to debug better ā€¦ :smile:
