The problem is with the theme. The way the work.html partial currently is, it can only display one item in each category. I reckon this probably an oversight of the theme’s developer.
I think your best option is to open an issue on github and see if the developer is willing to add this feature (it should only take a few lines of code), or else fork the theme and have a go yourself!
