I am on Windows right now. I want the latest build of Hugo so I cloned https://github.com/gohugoio/hugo. But when I tried to compile it I get error about gcc not found.
I tried the lastest release from https://github.com/gohugoio/hugo/releases but it is not extended version.
I suggest you have a better look as the download for Hugo Extended on 64bit Windows is there:
