It’s been so long since I started my theme that I can’t remember why I have a sample site in a directory called “exampleSite”. I see this name in lots of other modules, but it’s not generated by hugo new site, and I see no mention of it in the docs. Is that name special? Is there something somewhere that directs us to use it? Will something break if we use “example-site” or “example” instead?
No. That directory name is a hold over from a previous implementation (years ago) of the themes site. It’s name and presence are, at this point, irrelevant.
