Hello, I ran into problem in creating my site with Hugo. I am unable to override single.html for my projects pages… list.html overrides fine.
I am able to override single for news, and list for projects. I already tried to only override single for projects but did not seem to be the issue.

Looks like the structure is correct.
You can check inside:
projects/project1/index.en.md
projects/project1/index.fi.md
whether there is type set inside it, because it will affect the template lookup order.
That fixed it! I had set type: game, type: software etc…
