Summary with <!--more--> not functioning as expected

I exptected .Summary to stop after the tag given this content file

However the summary for the entry is empty.

If i remove the tag it displays the summary for the full page.

Any suggestions?

Please let me know if you need any additional info about my setup as I am new to Hugo, I only supplied the information I felt was logical in order to reproduce this issue?

Is there some sort of config setting i must set in order for it to take into account the tag?

Figured it out. Had to to with the linebreaks. Adding an empty line before the tag fixed it
