What is Mage? I cannot get it on my Debian. I have not seen on the installing page nor on the CONTRIBUTING.md file how to get it.

Mage is a remake of make, the build tool (pun intended 
). Mage is written in Go and acts as a replacement for the old Makefile by converting all build commands.
The setup of mage is actually described in the CONTRIBUTING.md
