Dear Colleagues,
I have learned tips and tricks from the Hugo community over the past month, and I am now beyond excited to share https://societyandai.org (Society and AI Research Group), a site I built using Hugo. It is still work in progress and I wanted to share it with you. I wanted something that is easy and free to maintain, runs on md, and is responsive. I am developing more pages including a group page which shows the advisors from the field, and I would love your feedback on the site. Many thanks again for reading.

Very nice and clean, great readability and effective content presentation!
I did notice a couple of minor layout issues:
There’s an element causing a pesistent horizzontal scrollbar.
Try previewing the hero section at around 770px, the image seems to shift too early, Your media query might be triggering a bit soon.
Also, consider lazy-loading images beyond the fold and resizing them, that would greatly improve performance. And finally Double-check your robots.txt contains html .
Please don’t take my comments the wrong way, it’ not critique just small suggestions to help refine an already excellent project.
