Query posts from custom archetype

Hi,
There’s a carousel in my homepage. I want the content to be generated from all of the custom archetype portfolio , taking the title and image from front matter data main-image.

How can I do this?
I’m a bit lost after reading this doc page https://gohugo.io/content-management/archetypes/

Just ignore my response; I read archetype and thought this was about something else. I suggest you go and read and try to understand the documentation.
