Please Add Support For Alternative Comments

Can you please add more hugo comment options?

Comments allowed now: {{/* Comment For Hugo */}} for Hugo and <!-- comment --> for HTML.

But can we also please have something like this: {* comment *} in Hugo its similar to /* comment */ in HTML. Without having to use double {{ }} brackets and /* */ inside. That 4 chars on each side just to do comments.

Also all comments should remove spaces around themselfs unless - dash symbol is used not the way it works now. By default all comments leave empty space in HTML. What is the point if the comments are removed in HTML anyway?

This is not a Hugo thing, it’s a GO templating thing; template package - text/template - Go Packages

Yes but I’m sure this is easy enought to add just like any other Hugo func :slight_smile:
