Is this doc still valid Content List Template?

As I read in this forum hug 0.18 handles some files and section different like _default.md & _index.md.

My question is:

Is the Documentation of https://gohugo.io/templates/list/ still valid?
Maybe there should also be mentioned the meaning of _default.md & _index.md.

  • _index.md is the new thing (_default.md isn’t a Hugo concept)
  • Everything on that page is still relevant and correct
  • But you are right, we should improve the doc in this area; I was a little fed up when I finished implementing it, so the documentation became an afterthought – see https://github.com/spf13/hugo/issues/2827
