well , hugo seems too promising , but i have simple doubt , can we use hugo as static file server in production with specific routing system in it ? i am newbe , please need some answer now. thank you in advance , you guys doing really great job.
Hugo is a generator, not a server. So no.
Hugo is a little tool that help you writing HTML, a bit like Notepad, with a few more functions, but more or less same. So, can we use Notepad as static file server - No.
What you are looking for is something like Apache, nginx, lighttpd and many more. I have also some Wordpress on the server so I stick with nginx, there might be better options for static sites.
