Hi all!
Recently, I have been working on a simple block-based CMS project that is inspired by Notion - Hugity.
My goal was to create a seamless experience, where a Hugo website can be launched in seconds. No CLI set-up needed, nor any deployment and hosting headaches.
What Hugity does:
- Uses Hugo and the powerful theme system to instantly generate and deploy your website.
- Comes with a Notion-style block-based editor for writing and managing content.
- Focuses on simplicity and content-creation. Instead of fiddling with drag-and-drop design tools, you simply write your content and publish.

Why have I built this?
I have seen so many creators and small businesses turn to Notion for landing pages and portfolios. They wanted speed and simplicity, not hours spent tweaking designs. I have looked at tools like super.so and bullet.so, but they’re tied to Notion’s structure, which meant you had to manage 2 portals - one for content, other for styling. Hugity is Hugo-native, giving flexibility with themes while keeping the workflow lightweight.
I’d love your feedback!
Currently, Hugity is in an early MVP stage. This means that every piece of feedback is taken seriously and helps shape this software. I’d love for you to try Hugity and let me know how the software feels.
I hope you give it a go and thank you in advance!
