Just a heads up: Someone message me about an issue with the extended binaries (that they looked like ordinary ones); I will check and fix.
Can confirm; when you attempt to deploy on Vercel with a HUGO_VERSION setting of 0.84.0 the response is:
Error: Version 0.84.0 of Hugo does not exist. Please specify a different one.
. . . which is relevant to this because Vercel typically defaults to Extended for the specified version.
Earlier, I’d tried a deploy with 0.84.0 specified and got this error message:
Error: Error building site: TOCSS: failed to transform "scss/index.scss" (text/x-scss). Check your Hugo installation; you need the extended version to build SCSS/SASS.
This is now fixed.
