Thank you so much for letting us know about the Snap being not updated. The error seems to be this:

Cannot parse snapcraft.yaml from ~gohugoio/hugo/+git/hugo:master: while scanning for the next token found character ‘@’ that cannot start any token in “”, line 70, column 34: node-packages: [postcss-cli, @babel/cli] ^

(from hugo-dev : Snap packages : “GoHugo.io” team)

and I am studying the issue for a proper fix, either to snapcraft.yaml or to snapcraft’s nodejs plugin.

Thanks for the update but there is some error that prompt, about the snap being not updated
