How to get rid of YYYY/MM in the URL?

I am a happy user of hugo for the time being but I want to get rid of the YYYY/MM part in the urls. So instead of http://hugoblog.example.org/2016/01/foo-bar-baz I want to have URLs like http://hugoblog.example.org/foo-bar-baz. I know that is how pages work but I would like posts to work like that too.
