How to Add a Featured Video?

Hi everyone! I am new to Hugo. My question is how can I get my videos to display in my excerpts? My theme is: amnix: https://github.com/Vimux/Amnix. I have youtube videos in my every post but they are not displayed on the index page. I guess I need to add something like | safeHTML ? Am i right?
