Hide Dates

Hi!

Is it possible to hide the default date of a markdown file?

I’ve searched but I’ve just found one person who was suggesting to use “showdate”.
I’ve tried to use it in my markdown files, but nothing changes.

Are there any ways to systematically hide dates from a markdown file?

The theme or templates determine if a date is showing on pages or files generated by Hugo. So you track down where the date is being rendered in those template files, and remove or change those lines. If you want to use a conditional or front matter value, you’ll need to change those same files and lines, to account for your content.
