Google Analytics GA4 property doesn't work

Google introduced next generation analytics.
Adding G-12345678 to GoogleAnalytics in config.toml doesn’t work. However, replacing it with UA-87654321 works fine.

I am afraid that we do not offer support for Google Analytics in this forum.

With that said the current Hugo internal template for Google Analytics does not support the new version.

You will need to create your own template in your project.

There are several open pull requests that aim to solve this issue. My own is under review. Hopefully this will be solved soon.
