On this particular topic on the Brave and Edge browser, the Discourse search bar is hijacking my browser’s search bar using CTRL+F. This only happens on this topic only.
Same behavior with Firefox, but hitting Ctrl+F a second time solves the problem

The behavior is intentional, though not necessarily desired, and depends on the number of posts on a given page due to dynamic loading. Note that the issue was originally raised 8 years ago, so I don’t see it changing any time soon.
As @iaeiou noted, Ctrl + F twice is the only way around this.
