Contents hierarchy

I know that if I create an about.md under contents it will create a page fully visible under http://example.com/about/. Is it possible to make it /contents/about/index.md and somehow still make it fully visible (not extra clicks) at http://example.com/about/? I am fastidious by nature, and don’t like files laying around at the top level of my contents.

Try about/_index.md. Or you can set the permalink. Or you can set slug in the front matter of the markdown file.
