Could you please advise on the best way to create popular articles based on views or ratings? Are there any ready-made solutions? I need to create a stream of popular articles in a specific area of the homepage.
- Hugo is static sit generator.
- Hugo don’t know which article is popular more than other.
a. you need to have CMS for that to analyse traffic etc. like Wordpress
b. even if hugo somehow will know (by taking back data from analytics using external script), this going back to point 1. Once generated list of popular pages is there untill you rebuild you website. You cannot have this as a dynamic content unless you pasting integration from other service, but thats way outside Hugo.
