I am trying to add a News widget to my website that can show the recent 5 (or some such number) entries of Recent News on my homepage.
I would like to have an Archive/Show more link at the bottom of the widget that links to a News Archive page that contains all previously posted news.
I think the best way to do this would be to add a page with a <-- more --> marker whose summary shows up in the widget (so that there is no redundancy in content), but I have not been able to figure out a way to do this using gcushen’s Academic Theme.
Any ideas from other users?
