Why hugo don't build some pages randomly

inside content/risorse/utility there is other pages to be rendered like:

  • calcolatrice/index.md
  • compress-images/index.md
  • merge-pdf/index.md
  • and so on but in public folder nothing is rendered (randomly)

Idea: all index.md contains a shortcode may be hugo can’t render correcly the page?

I doubt that a shortcode will break filing pages to disk.

  • an empty (only ---\n---) _index.md in risorse folder renders some more pages …
  • renaming the index.md in utility folder to _index.md renders some more …

these affect which pages are rendered by list templates (sections!)

read back, that _index stuff has been mentioned before..

Sections
A section is a top-level content directory or any content directory containing an _index.md file.

After reading the documentation and countless attempts, I discovered that RelativeURLs was set to true. I don’t even remember why, but according to this document (URL management), it’s no longer recommended to use it. Therefore, it seems I’ve solved it.
