If you use this forum from your iOS device, smart punctuation is inconvenient when writing code snippets because:
- It converts standard double quotes to “smart quotes”
- It converts two hyphens into an em-dash
To turn it off:
Settings > General > Keyboard > turn Smart Punctuation off
