The compact view does not show links

Hi,

I’m using the Hugo academic starter to build my academic webpage. I wanted to switch for my publications from the citation view to the compact view. However, when I do this (in home/publications.md, by changing view to 2), then the links (pdf, cite, arxiv, …) get removed. Can I prevent this?

In the compact view, it looks like this:

As you see, the links (PDF, cite, arXiv) are not there, even though they are in the “citation” view. I do not understand why this happened.

I am afraid you will have to take this to their support system as Hugo has no such thing as a “compact view”. It’s probably just a frontmatter thing.
