# Sheating a document with a frontmatter

Hi, it is something I never needed before: I need to publish an archive with lots of files, including images and pdf and epub documents, and give them a summary, and other metadata like dates.  
Naively I thought of using a headless page with the url field pointing at the document laying in static:

---
build:
  render: never
Title: Drying Shed
Summary: "Guy-Claude personally designed a drying shed to prevent raw foods from spoiling due to excessive sun exposure."
url: "archives/dernier-plan-sechoir.pdf"
---

```

… But it seems like headless pages don’t get any .Rel/AbsURL at all, as the link in my meny simply got an empty href attribute. So my idea was wrong. What is the simplest, canonical way to do that ? To make it so the page has its url pointing at the document transparently?

If you set `render: link` you should get what you want.
