# Put a blockquote into a numbered list

How did you achieve it?

I want to put a blockquote into a numbered list.

The following does not put the blockquote into a list item, so a new list is started:

```auto
<blockquote >
<div>

 {{ .Inner | markdownify }}

</div>
</blockquote>

```
