New Hugo adventures - so simple I cant understand... :)

So I am about to make a minimal site for someone I know, found the theme Pulp and the demo themes is pretty much exactually what I want, but… how do I do that?
So far I have “only” setup a few blods via Netlify and Forestry, that is dead simple but this!
Not so much.

So where do I begin and what do I have to do?
