# Inspiration for new themes

@digitalcraftsman I’m almost done with the Story theme and will try to have it uploaded to the theme directory by the end of the weekend.

I appreciate it’s a free theme from [freehtml5.co](http://freehtml5.co), but the source for the design was pretty shi&^%, so I’m reworking a lot of it, improving the semantics, etc.

[I’ve published what I have so far to Netlify](https://hugo-story.netlify.com/).

I’ve also added the following:

- [Copyable code blocks](https://hugo-story.netlify.com/windows-of-dreaming/)
- Support for taxonomies ([just “categories” for now on the demo](https://hugo-story.netlify.com/categories/web-development/), and I still need to create `_default/terms.html`)
- [Featherlight image modal](https://hugo-story.netlify.com/becoming-a-better-web-developer/)
- Better typography (in my opinion), including configurable OS fonts (Thanks, @Hash_Borgir)
- [A whole slew of SEO partials](https://github.com/rdwatters/hugo-story/tree/master/themes/hugos-story/layouts/partials/head)

I’m open to any other features if anyone has suggestions. Any request from the above list, @bep? LMK. Cheers.
