In an otherwise automated release process, the Snap part of it is the only pain point left with several manual steps. It is doable when it’s working, but this is not fun. I know it is great for end users, but I think we will have “do something” about it if we’re going to continue with the Snaps packages.

Hm… Didn’t know that it’s stuck…

Slightly OT info.  
Krita’s Dev Team recently pulled their snap package because they couldn’t cope with the bugs.

There are odd things going on with snaps also on the end user’s end.

I’ve written instructions somewhere on how to build Snaps with CircleCI. I can go dig it up.

I’m meeting with the Snapcraft team at the end up the month for a coding/document sprint. I can talk to them there as well.
