# How to uninstall Hugo on Windows 11

I had installed Hugo on my WIndows 11 laptop using the binaries I downloaded from the GitHub repo. I would like to uninstall Hugo. However, I cannot find it listed on the Apps Uninstall page in Settings. The documentation doesn’t say anything about it either. Please help.

Open a terminal and type

```plaintext
where.exe hugo

```

It shows me the path to the Hugo `bin` folder where `hugo.exe` is stored.

Then delete the file.
