# How can I accept a solution?

I’ve previously asked

and I’ve received a solution from bep. I’ve ✅ his solution, but when I clicked **Solved** in my user profile, it reads

> You have no accepted solutions yet.

How can I accept a solution? Thanks for reading.

Hi @VincentTam. Clicking the checkbox button (as you did) should be enough to mark the thread as solved

You accepted other folks’ solutions. It shows on their page (yours is the bottom solve in the screenshot).

When someone accepts your answer as a solution, it will show there.

The profile is for vanity, not tracking how many folks are helping ya. 🙂
