I’ve come back to Hugo after some time away from it, and when I run my blog posts through the Hugo engine, I find that every one is repeated. That is to say, each blog post contains something like

> This is a blog post.
> it’s a very fine one
> I hope you like it
> as much as I do
>
> This is a blog post.
> it’s a very fine one
> I hope you like it
> as much as I do

I have no idea what’s going on. I’m using the “hugo-clarity” theme, but I’ve made no changes to any of my configuration files since the last time I used Hugo. The only change is (possibly) the upgrade of Hugo itself during a system upgrade (I’m using Arch Linux).

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Many thanks.

You don’t give any hints on

- versions for hugo and theme old, new,
- your sources and layout additions
- code to check (repo) …

The hugo-clarity site is build with Hugo v0.145.0. but the docs are outdated - readme states v0.91.0+

- theme.toml states 0.128+

- maybe update the theme to the latest version
- if you are above or below 145 try with 145
the new layout system introduced with 146 may break some sites
- enable --logLevel debug may give some hints

the general approach would be to track that down for a page that’s wrong. trying to find which peace of code duplicates…
