:Error: error building site: failed to acquire a build lock too many open files

hallo, i’m using the hugobrick theme that seems to be the perfect solution for my project.

The public files work well but i’m not able to run the “hugo server” >> every time I get the error: “Error: error building site: failed to acquire a build lock: open /Users/graziano/hugo/hugobricks-main/.hugo_build.lock: too many open files”.
I tried all the fix found on google search and chatgpt without solving the problem.
I use a MAC …
Does anyone out there get this problem?

Just to be sure: you also did try with some of the solutions in this forum?

The “too many open files” search lists some issues with rhings to try.

Some more details could help the gurus:

Hugo version, os version, did it work before, any updates done by you or the os.

And of course your repo would help to reproduce…
