is there a way to use an embedded getty image as the overlay image on my website?

Your question isn’t Hugo related, but rather comes down to whether that’s allowed from a contractual standpoint by Getty and if so, just writing the code to access the image (if they make an url available you would just reference it in your css, normally). You can definitely paste an embed code into a markdown file and have it appear, FYI, so I assume it would also work with Getty’s.
