Disable/hide language selector for some pages or folders?

Just felt over that one. Also a nic approach and definitely from guys that know hiw hugo works.

Some pages should be in default language

I am working on a site that has a few languages, and menus and pages have translations. However some pages should always be in the default language (en). This page lang.Merge | Hugo explains something that may be a solution, but I’m not sure I understand it well enough. How do I show /content/defaultLanguage.md files no matter what localization is activated at the moment?
