Customise .TableOfContents in wowchemy starter-book theme

I want to increase the font size on my table of contents, using
{{ .TableOfContents }}.
I have the above shortcode in book_layout.html.

While we are at it, I have another query:
I have breadcrumb showing OK on laptop-browser view.
How do I get breadcrumb to show on the mobile view? In book_layout.html I have:
{{ partial “breadcrumb” $current_page }}

Any help appreciated.
