Continuing the discussion from [Hugo+Ananke+PhotoSwipe](https://discourse.gohugo.io/t/hugo-ananke-photoswipe/36638):

this project needs and upgrade to use version 5 of photoswipe. and solve the 1 long standing issue that I am facing which is to use Hugo to product multiple responsive sizes and webp format and open the image` <a href="{{ .Permalink }}` to apropriate image size and supported image format.

The code is there. Why not modify it so that it does what you need?

where??? there is no code which make use of Hugo image processing and open the apropriate image in photoswipe they are al opening single image without the webp format or multiple sizes. only thumbnails are being resized.

But have not found a way to server responsive images in photswipe using Hugo image processing when gallery is opened.
