Updating this question from 2018: I am a Hugo beginner and I am looking for tutorials on how to understand Hugo in more depth. There is a lot of great tutorials on how to get started with Hugo. But there are few comprehensive tutorials for beginners that would explain go templating language, scope (dot), how to implement variables, functions.
