# Cannot install latest Hugo version with Homebrew

Hi! I’m trying to install Hugo from brew and it’s installing version v0.52/extended and not the latest version. When I try to brew hugo upgrade it says I’m already on the latest version.

The Homebrew repo is showing the latest version: [https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/blob/master/Formula/hugo.rb](https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-core/blob/master/Formula/hugo.rb)

What OS and version are you using?
