# Can not insert D3 html object into static page

Hi, I’m working on a static website hosted on GitHub. I created a Sankey Diagram in R using the NetworkD3 package, which I’ve exported as an HTML file. A link to the file is [here](https://github.com/blakeshurtz/blakeshurtz.github.io/blob/master/img/portfolio/sankey.html).

I would like to insert the diagram into my static page but I can’t seem to get it to work on a local deployment. I’ve copied and pasted all the HTML into the static/markdown page but no luck. Can I get some help?
