# Add Pongo2 templating engine (django / twig like) to Hugo

It would be amazing to have [Pongo2](https://github.com/flosch/pongo2) templating engine as an available option with Hugo? Is this possible to add as one of the available templating engines?

That would be excellent, but it needs a maintainer. Does anyone care to make a pull request and add docs for it?
