Accents in page body showing up as �

Hello,
I haven’t been able to find anything like this in the forum.

I am fiddling with some test pages and my text contains accents, like in “antàni”.
They show up like this: ant�ni.

If I change the text with antàni then it works, but it’s a pain since in my native language there are plenty of those characters and it’d be impractical to replace them one by one.

…nevermind. Turned out it was a Vim default that sucked big balls.

Fixed with the vim option set encoding=utf-8. Best regards.
